Description

Oldest part (probably early 17th cent. but altered 1676
and later) consisted of three arms around a court with a
screen wall on W. side. 2 1/2 storeys. Harled. Corbie-steps
at N. arm; skews at S. Modern rear porch has armorial
panel from Breckness House. Court filled in 18th cent. to
accommodate stair. Stable yard to N. with brew-house and
harness-room. Extensive 19-20th cent. additions beyond.
