Mid-late 19th century. 2-storey and attic, 3 regular bays. Granite rubble with pinnings, ashlar eaves band, slate roof with pair canted dormers widely spaced over outer bays, with dentilled eaves. Small contemporary skylight at centre. Ashlar skews, red tiled ridge. Original 4-pane sash and case glazing at 1st and attic. Circa 1880-1900 shopfront with pair symmetrically arranged entrances set back between picture windows, which have granite ashlar base course, narrow cast-iron columns with diminutive Ionic style capitals at arrises, glazing curved at entrance splays; timber frieze, with dentilled cornice and elaborate consoles (centre console removed) fan detailed semi-circular timber die blocks over. 19th century contemporary gilded cast-iron pharmacist shop sign (mortar and pestle) canted out on decorative bracket.
