Description

Mid 18th century, advanced wing probably circa 1790. L-plan with narrow gable to street and wide garden (W) elevation. Harled, painted ashlar margins, some chamfered. Doorway in re-entrant angle and also in centre of S elevation of front wing. Later l9th century canted oriel in centre lst floor street gable above canted greenhouse.

2-storey, 5-bay garden elevation (W) with centre lst floor entrance reached by cast-iron forestair with decorative balustade.

Varied glazing, plate glass, 4- and 12-pane timber sash and case.

Flat skews with run-off skewputts; slate roofs; 19th century coped end rubble stacks. Garage slapped in ground floor to left of re-entrant doorway.

GARDEN WALLS: circa 1790. High rubble walls enclose rear garden.
