Description

J.H.R. MacDonald (John MacDonald Contractors Ltd.) 1933. International style. 2-storey, whitewashed smooth render with brick base and brick sills, flat oversailing roof with deep fascia and railings. Asymmetrical 2-window south east elevation, curved east angle with 6-light windows and centre to centre cantilevered canopy with curved ends at first floor level carries round to north east elevation which has narrow V-oriel over entrance door, fenestration in recessed bands. Irregular fenestration to north west with porch and slim corbelled chimney breast. Later addition to south west. Low stacks with brick coping. Original metal lying pane casements throughout. Roughcast garden wall with brick coping.

Of special importance. The most interesting individual design and also the best preserved. B group.
