Description

17th century. Long 2-storey block opening on N side of close
at W end. Sandstone rubble formerly rendered and incised as
ashlar. Random arrangement of openings; wide doorway to W
with timber lintel; blocked doorway to upper part formerly
serving as window. Windows altered and varied; some blind,
some small-pane glazing, some with spiralled iron bars.
3-storey, 2-bay house at E end of close, N-side, adjoining
2-storey block and abutting stairblock of 90 High Street.
Narrow lights at 1st and 2nd floor to right.
