Description

Circa 1820 2-storey 3-bay villa with hood-moulded windows, piended roof with flues gathered in to unusual cruciform-plan central axial stack; full-height addition to N with roof carried over built probably circa 1840. All painted ashlar; slate roof.

Original House: square central porch with paired pilasters, panelled door with fanlight; 1st floor cill band; small-paned sash windows; deeply projecting eaves. 2 bay W (garden) elevation with canted ground floor windows contemporary with addition.

Addition: recessed narrow linking bay with round-headed openings; projecting ground floor tripartite; 2 single 1st floor windows; porch recessed on N flank.
