Description

Early 20th century. 3-storey framed shop/warehouse recessed

from street level and with red ashlar cladding. Free

renaissance details. 6 bays (the left plainer, and with

timber-gated pend) divided by pilaster strips; large

square-headed openings at ground, round-headed 1st floor

windows with multi-paned glazing above springing level; 3rd

floor above main cornice, multi-paned windows, corbelled

oriels in alternate bays, alternate pedimented and Dutch-gabled

dormer heads, the inner with flanking octagonal shafts

carried upwards as finials, with bell-cast tops. Horizontal strings/cornices. Concealed roof.
