Description

Circa 1830. 2-storey, 3-bay house in terraced pair. Red
sandstone ashlar with stugged dressings; raised
margins, eaves course. Whinstone rubble sides and rear.
N ELEVATION: bays grouped towards centre. Painted
pilaster doorpiece to centre with cornice; fanlight,
flush panelled door. Tripartite windows in flanking bays
at ground floor. 3 windows to 1st floor.
S ELEVATION: Large stair window at centre with fire
escape. Windows to each floor in outer bays.
Blank rubble gable end to E.
Predominantly 12-pane glazing pattern to sash and case
windows. Stair window 4-pane and border glazing pattern.
Grey slates, straight skews, end stacks.
