Description

Mainly 18th century. Rubble enclosure wall with ashlar
dressings, segmentally arched gateway to Dell with small
gatehouse, one window gable front, slated roof with large
ashlar end stack at rear.
Good series of family burial enclosures stepped in slope,
droved and channelled ashlar fronts, architraved pedimented
doorways, one with good wrought iron gate.
Neo-Greek unfluted distyle in antis Doric front to Inglis
vault.
Good sculptured tombstones, several from mid 18th century.
Mausoleum of James Gillespie (died 1797), channelled ashlar
pedimented front with semicircular arched entrance, stone
slabbed roof.
