Description

Early 19th century. 2-storey, basement and attic 3-bay isolated classical terraced house adjoined by later properties. Cream sandstone with ashlar dressings. Stugged ashlar basement and 1st floor; polished ashlar rusticated main floor. Panelled door to right in segmental-headed frame with radiating fanlight and flanking panels. Base course; band course above 1st floor; cill course to 1st floor; ashlar course below with sunken aprons; cornice and blocking course. Canted piend-roofed dormer to left, skylight to right. Basement with out-of-line windows and door.

Plate glass timber sash and case windows. Grey slates; ashlar coped skews.

Cast-iron spear-headed railings to front; hand-rail to steps.

Statement of Interest

Clearly originally intended to be part of a continuous terrace.
