Description

Circa 1840. Large rectangular walled garden to W of Norton House Hotel and attached to former stables to W. Approx 500m X 800m. Squared, coursed whinstone with ashlar coping. Doors in each of 4 tall walls. Platform of former greenhouses against N wall on interior. No remaining garden or vegetation.

Statement of Interest

Norton House Hotel to the E and associated buildings are listed separately. The garden wall is attached at W to the former stables of Norton House Hotel which are listed separately. The walled garden is now used as childrens playground and outdoor function area for the hotel.
