Early 19th century. 4-storey classical tenement on gusset site with bowed outer bays to front. Cream stugged sandstone ashlar, with polished dressings and ground floor. Base course; band courses above ground and 2nd floors; cornice.
NW (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: 5-bay; centre bay with blind windows above ground floor; outer bays bowed. At ground, former shop doors and windows part blocked as domestic windows; 4 to centre, 2 to left bay,
1 to right (and blocked doorway).
W (NORTH JUNCTION STREET) ELEVATION: 3-bay. 4-bay at ground with windows (as above) to outer bays; pilastered and corniced doorpiece to centre left bay with modern door; secondary door opening to centre right bay with inserted modern door and surround. Shouldered wallhead stack to left.
NE (COUPER STREET) ELEVATION: 3-bay; at ground, door to left and windows (as above) to centre and right. Painted street name.
Timber sash and case 12-pane windows. 1 replacement to North Junction Street. Piended roof; grey slates; coped rendered stacks.
The former North Leith Mill working buildings, which have been converted to flats, are attached to the rear.
