Description

Peter Whyte (A M Rendel, consultant engineer), 1891-6. Ashlar-built graving dock, 284? by 70?; curved E end, narrow W end with steps to either side; timber flood gate with bridge over.

Statement of Interest

The adjacent hydraulic station serves not only the dry dock but also the Victoria swing bridge (both listed separately).
