Description

1800. 3-storey with basement and attic. 5-bay. Terraced classical tenement. Sandstone ashlar. String course at ground, band course between floors. Cill band at 1st floor, projecting cills above, eaves cornice, blocking course, ashlar steps and entrance platts oversailing basement.

W (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: round-arched recessed bays at ground, entrances with fanlights in bays to centre and outer right, windows to remaining bays. Regular fenestration above. 3 piended dormers to attic, roof lights.

Timber sash and case with 12-pane glazing, grey slates, corniced (rebuilt) gablehead and pitch stacks with terracotta cans, decorative cast-iron railings.

INTERIOR: not seen 1998.
