Description

Early 19th century. 2-storey, symmetrical 3-bay classical house; single storey wings adjoining house, later additional storey to N. Lightly stugged cream sandstone ashlar. Cill course, architraves, and cornices to 1st floor windows; cornice and blocking course.

W (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: central recessed, round-arched and pilastered doorway; panelled door and plate glass fanlight; single windows at 1st floor above and in bays to outer left and right, those to ground floor set in round-arched panels.

Predominantly 4-pane timber sash and case windows, 8-pane window over doorway. Grey slate piended roof with coped wallhead stacks.

INTERIOR: not seen 1995

BOUNDARY WALL: low, coursed boundary wall to street; replacement railings.
