Description

Circa 1820. 3-storey, symmetrical 5-bay shops and dwellings
above; centre basket arched pend. Finely tooled ashlar,
polished ashlar dressings, painted at ground floor. Original
3-bay shop with centre door to No 78; late 19th/early 20th
century 3-bay shop front with bracketted corniced fascia
above to No 74. Tolbooth Street elevation of 3 storeys, 2
bays rendered with painted margins. Raised, moulded
architraves to 1st and 2nd floor windows, corniced at 1st
floor. 2-pane glazing. Eaves band and cornice; coped ridge
and end stacks; shallow slate roof.

has access via High Street pend (no 76).
