Description

Thomas Mackenzie, 1852-54. 3-storey, 5-bay banking palazzo;
polished ashlar (finely tooled at 1st and 2nd floor); ground
floor channelled, windows in pilaster aedicules; Roman Doric
porch. Aediculed 1st floor windows with pediments alternating
segmental and triangular; 4- and 6-pane glazing guilloche
moulded band course; modillioned cornice; top balustrade;
coped wallhead stacks; slate roof.
Enriched cornices to ceiling of banking hall within.
