Description

Possibly by C J Menart. Late 19th/early 20th century
2-storey 3-bay villa. Red ashlar. Renaissance details.
Variety of wall-planes; curved ground floor bow left,
recessed right bay with canted ground floor window; 1st
floor cross-windows in outer bays; centre door, architrave
overlaying pilasters, pediment over sculptured frieze.
Mostly sash windows, some multi-paned upper sashes. Deep
eaves, piended slate roof with red ridging tiles.
Low boundary wall, battered square gatepiers.
Garage on N flank is a comparatively early example;
conservatory on S flank is modern but on original footings.
