Description

Circa 1840-50. Tudor Gothic detailed block of offices
and shops adjoining the Tron Steeple. 2-storey, 6-bay
with taller shallow advanced gabled bay to right.
Unfortunate modern shopfronts to ground. 1st floor, to
left, 5 hoodmoulded single light windows, to right bay
tripartite window with hoodmould rising to small
pediment over central light. All sash and case with
plate glass glazing. Moulded mutuled eaves cornice deep
plain parapet, shaped gable with finial apex to right.
Moulded panel with Glasgow coat of arms to gable head.
