Description

Circa 1869. Jacobean. Symmetrical 2-storey and
basement snecked rubble with ashlar dressings. 8
unequal x 3 bays. Pilastered entrances in E and W
returns with round-headed stairlights above. Ashlar plinth
course. Sash and case windows in margins, 12-pane glazing.
S ELEVATION TO PARTICKHILL ROAD: 1st 4 bays from E, 2
gabled sections with corniced ground floor windows
repeated above with strapwork pediments; blind niches in
gables; moulded skews with kneelers. Lower 2 bay
section to W with canted W bay, set-back, moulded skews
to gable with finial. Eaves cornice.
Plain rear elevation. Axial stacks, slate roof.
