Description

Circa 1875. Long 4-storey tenement range, 5 bays at
E and W shallow advanced. Yellow sandstone ashlar.
Fascia and cornice survive over ground floor some ground
floor shop detail survives. Windows arranged 1-3-1,
3-2-2-3-2-1-1-2, 2-1-1-1-2; all windows in architraves,
decorative consoled cornices to 1st floor, cill course
to 2nd with outer windows corniced; cill course to 3rd.
Simple entablature raised at ends and off-centre. At
E end 4-canted angle bays (public house) with return to
Overnewton Street. W end curved angle with 1 bay to
Blackie Street.
