Description

Sir J J Burnet, circa 1900. 5-storey severe astylar
commercial building with public house at ground floor. 4
bays with single bay advanced outer sections. Polished
ashlar with granite plinth. Bay-leaf ornamented hood to
entry to upper floors in southmost bay at No 15, fanlight.
Ground floor cornice. All windows sash and case in
architraves. 8 panes in upper sash; 2 in lower; 1st floor
windows pedimented in outer bays, corniced above. Plain
entablature with mutule cornice; parapet, raised in outer
bays. Short angled return bay with polished ashlar above
1st floor level; 3 storeys of single lights with narrow
windows to right.
Public house with leaded glass lights.
