Description

Early 19th century. Pair of attached classical villas. 2
storeys and basement, 9 bays with lower 2-bay later
addition to left. Droved ashlar. Symmetrically arranged
doorways with fanlights and Roman Doric doorpieces. 12
architraved sash windows; cornices on ground floor; blind
central bay. Eaves cornice. End and central stacks (end
stack at No 256 removed).
INTERIOR: No 256 stained glass stair light. Art Nouveau
details.
Squared rubble boundary walls with ashlar coping. Ashlar
gate piers; cast-iron gates.
