Description

J J Burnet. 1894. Romanesque. Rectangular plan church
with central arcade and M roof. Snecked rubble with ashlar
dressings. 3 bays with paired lancets in each. Large square-
plan tower attached at north with chamfered angles, paired
round headed louvres in upper stage, corbelled parapet and
pyramidal roof Porch extends west from tower with boldly
detailed door and flanking cusped windows; timber braces and
posts support dentilled tie beam, applied timber framing in
gable head, with barge-boards; deeply projecting eaves.
Hall extends to west with projection angled, semi-octagonal
room. Slate roof.
