Description

18th century; reconstructed 1969 by W Schomberg Scott. 2-storey, 4-bay, rectangular-plan vernacular house in irregular terrace. Harled with painted margins.

S (PAN HA') ELEVATION: bay to outer right with single storey lean-to porch with 2 windows, panelled timber door on return to left, 4 windows to left grouped 3-1; 4 windows to 1st floor.

N (REAR) ELEVATION: ground floor detail obscured by boundary wall. Bipartite window to left of centre at 1st floor, and slightly advanced, swept-roof bay with window to outer left.

12-pane glazing pattern in timber sash and case windows. Pantiles. Harled stacks; ashlar-coped skews, that to E crowstepped.

Renovated (1969) as part of The National Trust for Scotland's Little Houses Scheme.
