Description

Earlier 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay classical style villa with single storey, single bay addition in similar style. Smooth rendered, rendered as channelled ashlar to ground floor front, rusticated ashlar quoins and windows, grey slate piended roof. Base course, string course at 1st floor front, moulded wallhead course; 4-pane timber sash and case windows, 2 ashlar-corniced rendered ridge stacks with cream cans, cast-iron rainwater goods.

FRONT ELEVATION: 6-panelled, 2-leaf door with astragalled fanlight

to centre, pilastered and block-pedimented doorpiece with cavetto

margins, window to left and right, 3 windows to 1st floor; single storey bay to right with flat roof and half-glazed door and fanlight; door in small curtain wall to left.

RIGHT RETURN ELEVATION: ground floor masked by addition, 2 windows to 1st floor.

REAR ELEVATION: single storey, piend-roofed bay to left, window to

right, stair window to 1st floor with window to left and right.

INTERIOR: not seen.

OUTBUILDINGS AND BOUNDARY WALLS: low coped boundary wall and 4 squat gatepiers to front (railings and gates removed), high rubble wall to side and rear, piend-roofed outbuildings.
