Description

Earlier 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay house with shop at ground. Cream sandstone rubble. Rounded margins to door and windows at ground, raised margins to windows at 1st floor.

W (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: rounded angle to left returning to square at 1st floor. Tripartite shop, fanlit door off-centre with timber-mullioned bipartite window to left, large window to right with fixed multi-pane glazing. Regular fenestration above.

N (MARKET LANE) ELEVATION: gabled reutrn with window to left at 1st floor.

Mostly 8-pane sash and case windows. Steeply pitched roof with grey slates, ashlar coped skew to left with roll bracketted skewputt. Brick stack to left gable.
