Description

1822. Single storey former school now part of Church Hall. 6 bays to Oakshaw Street and 3 to Orr Street, with rounded corner. Painted ashlar. Cilled, 8-pane sash windows to Oakshaw Street. Band course between windows continues as cill band to blind Orr Street windows. Recessed panel over each window. Raised parapet with ornamented terminal caps over 2 centre bays to Oakshaw Street. Slate roof, with tapering stack to Orr Street.

Statement of Interest

Built as Hutcheson's Charity School. Inscribed block to parapet. Only former school listed not rest of halls.
