J T Rochead (Glasgow) begun 1862, completed 1869. Tall crown
tower of 4 high barrel-vaulted chambers. Rubble-built,
fantastic baronial detail, single-storey building adjoins.
Bronze of Wallace in niche by D W Stevenson, Collection of
marble busts by Stevenson; one bronze bust by Pittendrigh
MacGillivray.
