Description

Later 19th century. Italianate asymmetrical 2-storey and basement
with 4-storey centre tower, coursed rubble, canted bay
through all floors to right; centre bay with
segmentally-arched corinthianesque entrance porch with railed
steps; single round-arched window at 1st above, round-arched
bipartite at 2nd, square-headed triplets at top stage and
low-pitched pyramid roof; plain slightly set-back single window
left hand bay. Basement large rock-faced coursers.
Piended slated roof. Single-storey wing E gable, rubble-built
slated, piended roof.

Statement of Interest

Part of Kings Park Conservation Area group. The area is

an outstanding early to late Victorian villa development with

remarkably few later additions.
