Description

Mid to later 19th century. 3-storey, 3-bay tenement with modern shop at ground, apparently raised from 2-storey original. Ashlar front, rubble whinstone sides and rear. Dividing cornices, rusticated masonry at 2nd floor, modillioned cornice.

1st floor shoulder-arched windows flanked by panelled pilasters and with architrave above. Rear elevation 2-bay with tall, round-arched stair window to right, border-glazed, window to each floor to left, cast-iron rooflights.

Timber sash and case windows; plate glass to front and 4-pane to rear. Grey slates. Ashlar skews; gablehead stacks.

The addition of the 2nd floor raises Nos 127-129 above its neighbours.
