Late 18th to early 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay rectangular-plan symmetrical house in terrace. Harled at ground; roughly coursed rubble at 1st floor with cement margins to openings. Band course between ground and 1st floor; consolled eaves course with consols also flanking 1st floor windows.
W (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: 2-leaf timber panelled storm doors with rectangular fanlight and deep-set timber panelled door with rectangular fanlight behind at ground in bay to centre. Window at each floor in each bay flanking.
12-paned timber sash and case windows; flush rooflight to W pitch; Caithness slate; stone ridge; replacement concrete skews; common harled, coped multi-flue ridge stack to N; rubble stack to S with replaced cement cope; uPVC rainwater goods.
The photograph in the NMRS Photographic Records, copied in 1980, shows the existence of an unsympathetic single storey addition spanning the bays along the ground floor which has subsequently been removed. This photo also shows the existence of a decorative railing along the gutter, also removed.
