History

Mid C19; associated with adjacent quarries.

Exterior

Two-storey, three window house; L-shaped plan. Slate roof, rubble masonry, slate hanging to rear and R gable. Three rectangular chimneys rendered. First floor windows set at eaves each 12-pane sash. Door and ground floor windows under deep stone lintels with slate hoodmoulds; windows generally 16-pane sashes. Boarded door set between left and central windows.

At rear, projecting gabled wing with two first floor horned sash windows. On ground floor, central doorway with window to each side. Brick privy under lean-to slate roof. Small porch in angle between blocks covers further doorway.
