History

Probably later C17.

Exterior

Large barn heavily built in roughly-coursed slate slabs on foundations of massive roughly-dressed boulders. Centrally-placed doorways to each long side with segmental heads of narrow voussoirs with corbelled slate hoodmoulds. Two tiers of staggered ventilation slits. Roof of 6 bays, 5 collar and tie-beam trusses. Modern corrugated covering to roof and gables. Later attached low cowshed to N, slightly offset from line of barn. Door with stone lintel faces W. Rubble walls, slate roof.
