Exterior

Circa 1850 terraced house, unpainted, lined stucco with slate roof and small C20 N stack. Two-storey two-window range of 16-pane sashes with slate sills, door to right with two slate steps, three-panel door and arched head with Y-tracery.

Interior

According to 1981 list description, this interior retains: "arch in hall, contemporary stair to rear with straight balusters and open scroll string".

Reasons for Listing

Included as a pair with No 42 which has retained the original character in a heavily altered row.
