Exterior

Timber framed barn, two and three panels high, originally with board infill to lower panel, woven infilling to upper panels, but now weatherboarded, slated roof. Seven bays, originally lofted throughout, and with building attached at W end consisting of 3 stone walls.
Main posts have angle braces to tie beams, and collar beam trusses with struts to principal rafters. ties and braces to main posts. Some tie beams are chamfered and stopped.

Small door entrance in bay 3 from E, with opposite door forming a cross passage between closed trusses. Long tension brace at E end at junction with stone building.

Included as an important farm-building in association with the Grade II* Trewern House.
