Exterior

House of the late C18 or early C19. Whitewashed rubble, roughcasted to front, and slate roof. Two storeys and attic, with a lower 2-storey 1-bay extension to the left. Three bays, symmetrical facade, with central six-panelled door within a later gabled porch, glazed at the sides. Deep set 4-paned sashes, renewed, the central bay gabled with a 6-paned lunette window to the attic. Large gabled stacks with offsetting brick caps. The added bay has large 3-light windows, renewed on the ground floor.

Reasons for Listing

Included as being in a prominent position of group value on the Green, and as an example of the local style of larger house built at the turn of the C19.
