Exterior

te C17/early C18. Rubble ground floor and S(downhill) gable end, lapboarded above to loft; slate roof. The W side, facing the farmyard has 4-evenly spaced doorways and slit ventilators; modern boarded doors; similar doorways to rear. The uphill gable end has projecting stones suggesting that there may have been outside steps to the loft; the downhill gable end has doveboxes and ledges. Formerly a lean-to at rear.

Interior

5-bay interior, the lofted uphill bay of which is separated off by a rubble wall; transverse feeding passages. A-frame roof trusses with queen struts and purlins. Square panelled timber framed uphill gable end. Restored in 1990.
