History

cl890s remodelling and raising of an earlier building. Late Georgian style.

Exterior

3 storeys. Colourwashed plaster on rubble, plinth. Moderately pitched slate roof, deep boarded eaves. Rendered stacks. 3 window house to left, l window shop to right.

l2 pane sash windows flanking dummy window to lst and 2nd floor of house on left. Moulded architraves, brackets to sills. Similar to ground floor flanking central doorcase. Moulded cornice over plain frieze on plain pilasters. Rectangular fanlight over panelled door.

l2 pane sash windows to lst and 2nd floors over shop. Moulded architraves, brackets to sills. Flat hood over plain fascia to shopfront, plain pilasters. Large rectangular fanlight over half glazed door to left. 2 light shop window to right, plastered stallriser.
