Exterior

Early to mid C19 house in rubble stone with slate roof and C20 west end stone stack. Two storeys, double fronted with two small plate-glass sashes above; one similar to ground floor right and larger paired casement with small panes to left. Centre door in modern stone lean-to enclosed porch.

Front garden enclosed by rubble wall with rough stone coping.

Reasons for Listing

1840 Tithe Map shows large house and stable approximately on site of No 7 and No 9; No 7 was Tower Inn in later C19.
