History

Dated 1692.

Exterior

Stone with slit vents, corrugated iron replacing stone tiles. Stout E doorframe, lintel inscribed 'H 1692 P' & flourish. Roof 4 bays, wainy tiebeams, V-struts, 3 heights purlins. Lean-to attachments: N, stone & slate shed, C18/19; E, cattleshed, stone & corrugated iron, C18.

The barn is unusual as an early dated farm building and well preserved.
