Exterior

C19 single-carriageway bridge of coursed rubble and hammer-dressed quoins. A segmental arch has hammer-dressed voussoirs and a prominent keystone, above which is a string course and low parapet. The parapet and abutments are splayed outwards at the ends, terminating in square piers to the upstream side, and with flat coping stones. The deck is ramped slightly to the centre.

Reasons for Listing

Good example of a C19 bridge, one of a number of fine stone bridges spanning the Grwyne Fawr and Fechan.
