History

Publicly-funded memorial to Annie Lawrence who died in 1908 aged 19.

Exterior

A marble sculpture of a classically robed woman holding a bunch of flowers. It stands on a tall sandstone base with moulded plinth and cornice. The E side of the base bears an inscription in engraved letters: 'Erected by public subscription in honoured memory of Annie Dorothy Lawrence ... of Abertridwr who died August 17th 1908 yielding up her life rather than her virtue'.
