History

Early C19 haybarn, built as part of the earlier farm complex which was partly incorporated into the new farm group at the time of its general rebuilding in the mid C19.

Exterior

Three-bay haybarn with rubble end wall and square rubble front piers; old slate roof of medium pitch. Wooden posts on rubble plinths support the sides; the rear gable apex is open.

Interior

Original roof structure with pegged tie-beam and raking strut trusses.

Reasons for Listing

Listed as an early C19 haybarn retaining good original character as part of a well-preserved and well-presented farm group.
