History

One of a pair of backland houses much altered since 1981 when they were described as whitewashed rubble stone, with inner window bay and outer door bay, glazing-bar sash windows and ledged doors.

Exterior

Paired house, unpainted roughcast with slate close-eaved roof, hipped to C20 added wing to right. Shared renewed brick stack to left. Two storeys, C20 uPVC window to left each floor and C20 uPVC door to right. Addition has C20 similar window to right, and C20 windows in end wall.

Interior

In 1981 said to have exposed ceiling joists.

Reasons for Listing

Included despite loss of detail as part of the town's few remaining courtyard groups.
