History

A C19 mile marker shown on the 1889 Ordnance Survey.

Exterior

A round-headed freestone mile marker painted white with black-painted letters. The lower section is part buried and has an added OS datum. It is inscribed 'Rhayader 8½ miles' and 'Penybont [1]'.
