Church of St Winifred

A Grade II Listed Building in Holbeck, Nottinghamshire

Transitional Norman style chancel arch, Church of St Winifred, Holbeck

Uploader's Comments

The moulded chancel arch is decorated with a key pattern, chevron and billet and is supported on engaged columns. The architecture of the church looks to the Norman Transitional period for its inspiration. (Photo Jun 2010).
