Seen through the gateway of the Coach House. A House, dated 1634 and built of ironstone, laid in alternately wide and narrow courses. Limestone dressings and C19 slate roof. Modified H-plan. North front in 3 wide bays, the outer bays rising to form shaped gables decorated with scrolls. (Photo jun 2007).
