House early to mid C18, squared coursed blue lias stone with hipped modern plain tile
roof. Two-storey and attic, 3 hipped dormers to South front, 2 to East side. West
end wall stack and rear wall stack. Raised plinth and moulded limestone eaves
cornice. Double fronted 3 window range: glazing bar sashes, 4 pane width outer,
3 pane width in centre. Arched central door with radiating bar fanlight and 6 panel
door. Open pediment Doric doorcase with fluted pilasters and panelled reveals. East
side: 3 windows with raised keystones to heads, one with Gothick intersecting glazing
bars. To rear 1 1/2 storey service and dovect range, blue lias stone with plain tile
roof, 2 gabled dormers, 6 panel door and one ground floor window. Dovecot section has
plain wall and small lantern on ridge. Beyond barn range, stone with corrugated
roof. Five close spaced bays with tie-beam and collar trusses with angle struts.
