29 London Street in the 1950's

My parents were living in this cottage when I was born in 1949, and I spent all my childhood living there until we moved out in 1962. My paternal grandmother and her family had previously lived in the cottage. It was originally 25 London Street when we lived there, though it became 31 London Street at some point while we were still there, and I see that it is now 29 London Street. I spent so many happy hours playing in the garden! The garden was big and from what I can make out on Google Maps it appears that another house may now have been built in it. A bungalow had already been built in the neighbouring garden (right-hand side) before we moved out in 1962. My photo is how it looked during the 1950s. The brick lean-to on the left-hand side of the front of the cottage was the shop of a shoe mender, which stretched some way back and was separate from our cottage.
